S&P 500 Closes At Two-week Low As Health-care Sector Sinks

The S&P 500 closed at a two-week low Wednesday as the health-care sector slumped amid a public debate over pharmaceutical companies' pricing practices. The S&P 500 slid 11 points, or 0.5%, to end at 2,175. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 65 points, or 0.4%, to finish at 18,481 and the Nasdaq Composite fell 42 points, or 0.8%, to close at 5,217. Mylan shares skidded more than 5% after the company came under fire for its decision to raise the price of EpiPen, a widely used allergy medication, attracting criticism from lawmakers and politicians.
