A woman was killed and at least five others wounded in a knife attack in central London on Wednesday night. A suspect is reported to be in custody, and police said terrorism is being investigated as a motive. The attack occurred in Russell Square, an area near a number of hotels and museums around 10:30 p.m. The incident happened just hours after London's Metropolitan Police announced it would increase the number of armed police in the streets in the wake of recent terrorist attacks across Europe. The suspect in Wednesday's stabbing was apparently subdued by police with a Taser.
