SIrius XM Subscriber Numbers Top Street Estimate; Forecast Weak

Sirius XM Holdings Inc. shares rose fractionally in the extended session Tuesday after the satellite radio company's subscriber numbers topped Wall Street estimates but forecasts fell a bit short. Sirius shares advanced 0.1% to $3.91. The company reported having 29.6 million total subscribers at the end of 2015. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had forecast 29.4 million subscribers. By the end of 2016, Sirius expects a net addition of about 1.4 million subscribers, for a total of 30.8 million subscribers. Analysts expect 31.1 million subscribers by the end of 2016.
