Cycle Gear recalling some semi-truck and motorcycle toys due to excessive lead levels

Cycle Gear Inc. is recalling about 155 semi-truck and motorcycle toys because of excessive lead levels.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said that the levels are above the federal standard for lead content.

There have been no reports of incidents or injuries.

The recall includes the plastic Wheelies semi-truck with six motorcycles, which was priced at $20. The toy truck comes in red and purple with multicolored motorcycles. Item number TAG66767 and SKU number 752249 are printed on the packaging.

The recall also includes the Wheelies push-along motorcycle with rider, which sold for $10. The motorcycle is red, while the rider is wearing a black outfit with silver accents. The item number is TBG04323 and SKU number is 752251.

The toys were sold between November and December at Cycle Gear stores and on the Benicia, California-based company's website.

Consumers are advised to immediately take the toys away from children and stop using them. Individuals may contact Cycle Gear for a full refund. The company is also contacting consumers directly.
