Gordon Ramsay's NY Restaurant Sued for $24K Unpaid Trash Bill

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was sued by a trash-hauling company that claims the fiery "Hell's Kitchen" star did not pay a $24,766 garbage bill, the New York Post reported Thursday.

Daniello Carting Co. filed a suit in Bronx State Supreme Court last week, alleging that Ramsay agreed to pay $3,800 a month plus tax to have trash hauled away from his Manhattan restaurant Gordon Ramsay at the London, on West 54th Street.

But Ramsay's company did not pay, and the current tab totals at least $24,766, the suit claimed.

A spokeswoman for the hot-tempered chef confirmed that his company, Gordon Ramsay Holdings, received a bill from Daniello in May -- but claimed that Daniello was unreachable.

"We are not aware of any legal action from Daniello Carting Co.," the spokeswoman said. "However, we are aware of the bill and a few months ago contacted them without a response. We would ask them to contact us directly so we can resolve the issue."

Last year, it was reported that Ramsay's New York restaurant was losing more than $2 million a year.
