Brazil Posts Nov. Current Account Deficit of $2.4 Billion Vs Deficit of $343 Million in Oct.

SÃO PAULO--Brazil posted a current-account deficit of $2.4 billion in November, compared with a deficit of $343 million in October, the country's central bank said Wednesday.

The 12-month current account deficit widened in November to $11.3 billion, or 0.56% of gross domestic product, compared with $9.6 billion in October.

Net foreign direct investment in the country declined to $5 billion in November, from $8.2 billion in October, the central bank said.
