Shares of retailers and other consumer-services companies rose after a robust June jobs report. Sears Holdings declined after the chain store's chief executive, Edward Lampert, said it was closing another 43 stores nationwide, as it focuses on smaller locations and shuts unprofitable stores nationwide.
