Verizon's $4.5 billion acquisition of Yahoo received approval from Yahoo shareholders. The deal, which was delayed by Yahoo's disclosure of two massive security breaches, is expected to close on June 13. About 2,100 people will lose their jobs at Yahoo and AOL after the acquisition, a person familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal
