For the most part, it was a fairly quiet week in the energy sector. Unless, of course, you were invested in one of a handful of companies that investors bailed on this week.
According toS&P Capital IQdata, three notable energy companies had a really awful week as their stocks plunged more than 10%. The troublesome trio includedLinn Energy LLC , Atlas Resource Partners, L.P. , and Peabody Energy Corporation.
