Comcast's Universal Pictures is having the best year in box-office history, with big hits such as Jurassic Worldand Minions pushing the company's 2015 ticket sales to roughly $6 billion.
Filmed entertainment accounted for just about 7% of Comcast's revenue in the past fiscal year, but big movie hits are paving the way for growth, and could also help drive traffic at the company's theme parks.
