Nokia (NYSE:NOK) fell Tuesday after news emerged that it is postponing delivery of its flagship N8 smartphone for another few weeks.
The company said it still anticipates shipments to commence by the end of the third-quarter, though it said the exact time it reaches consumers will vary by market and operator.

The phone maker had previously targeted its online pre-order customers to receive shipments by the end of September.
Today it advised its pre-order customers that they should expect their new Nokia N8 in October.
Nokia said it has received a “record number” of online preorders for the phone.
