Dish Network to Offer Online Programming

The Dish Network (NASDAQ:DISH) announced this week it will start offering programming online to its subscribers via a website, DishOnline.com.

Dish Network joins cable companies Time Warner and Comcast in offering the programming, and on Tuesday Dish Network subscribers will be able to watch the Discovery Channel, HGTV and MTV.

The  website will showcase free television content, and movies will be made available via a subscription-only basis video clips, DishOnline.com site will show some free video clips, but cable shows and many movies will be available only with a subscription.
