Miami’s ever-changing landscape of new developments presents a vast array of options for corporate powwows, marketing affairs, and other business-minded functions. Here’s a selection of five top spots from the event experts at BizBash.

For Big Presentations: New World Center

The $160 million, 100,000-square-foot New World Center off Lincoln Road is the new home for the New World Symphony. Designed by Frank Gehry, the center offers ample event space, starting with its main, 30,000-square-foot performance hall, which can seat 756 and has 14 staging configurations. The six-story first-floor atrium serves as the entrance to the building and can accommodate 250 guests for a cocktail party, while the rooftop garden is an 8,000-square-foot area that can host 250 with ocean, city, and bay views. The SunTrust Pavilion, next to the atrium on the ground floor, is a 2,400-square-foot multipurpose room that can seat 175. On the outside of the building is a 7,000-square-foot projection wall available for presentations and entertainment. The outdoor space is part of the Miami Beach Soundscape, a new park developed in conjunction with the performance hall that can accommodate 1,000 people. The building also has some 30 smaller, multipurpose rooms, each with built-in projectors, screens, audio, and HD video recording capabilities. (500 17th St., 305.428.6700, nws.edu)
