Twitter To Launch Music App On Friday: Report

Micro-blogging site Twitter plans to launch a new, separate music application on Friday, according to All Things Digital , citing people familiar with the matter. With the new music app, users will be able to listen to music provided by third-party services such as iTunes and Soundcloud as well as watch videos provided by Vevo. The app will help users find artists and songs based on personalized signals, including Twitter accounts, the report said.
