Former Chicago Mayor Daley Hospitalized: Reports

Former Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley was rushed to a hospital Friday evening after becoming ill as he returned from a business trip to Arizona, news reports said. Daley become disoriented on the flight, but was able to walk off the plane, the Chicago Sun-Times reported , citing a spokesman for the 71-year-old former mayor, who remained in the intensive-care unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for monitoring and evaluation. Daley, who served as mayor for 22 years, left office in May 2011, surpassing by one year the tenure of his father, Richard J.
