Chicago's Spot Diesel, Gasoline Rallies on Tight Supply

Chicago's spot gasoline and diesel fuel prices rallied again on Friday as regional refinery maintenance continues to crimp incremental supply.Sellers of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel, or ULSD, for prompt 1st-cycle delivery, finished 10 cents up on the day, at 28 cents a gallon above June Nymex heating oil futures, while buyers rose eight cents to 24 cents over. The timing traded at a premium of 20 cents to the benchmark for Buckeye Complex delivery earlier on Friday. Barrels for 2nd-cycle May delivery were last assessed between 18 cents and 21 cents over June Nymex, up from 12 cents to 14 cents over on Thursday.
