Rambus Shares Jump On Hynix Patent License Deal

Shares of Rambus Inc. jumped more than 8% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after the memory chip designer said it has signed a patent license agreement with SK Hynix. Rambus said the five-year agreement would cover Rambus's "memory-related patented innovations." The agreement also settles all outstanding claims between the two companies. The deal includes "license to certain DRAM products for payments of $12 million per quarter for the next five years," Rambus said.Copyright © 2013 MarketWatch, Inc....
