Analyst: Exxon Could Hike Dividend Again This Year

Deutsche Bank analyst Paul Sankey said Friday it's possible Exxon Mobil could hike its dividend on top its 21% boost earlier this week.

"If Exxon Mobil's CEO [Rex Tillerson] stays true to his word...and keeps the yield competitive, there should be further dividend increases before next year," Sankey said in a note to clients. "We believe shareholder pressure will remain high for this." Sankey reiterated his buy rating "on relative merit of Exxon Mobil's yield verses T-Bills."Copyright © 2012 MarketWatch, Inc....
