Vornado Realty Trust, (VNO) one of the nation's largest commercial landlords, sold its 50% stake in a site located in Boston's Downtown Crossing district to a unit of Millennium Partners, a person familiar with the matter said Thursday.The New York-based real estate investment trust disclosed late Wednesday that it sold the stake, but did not identify the buyer, at a loss of $2 million and that the impairment was recognized in the first quarter. Millennium now owns the entire site which was the former home to Filene's Basement, the person said.Write to A.D.
