CenterPoint Energy Posts Higher Profit, Hikes Full-year View

… YORK -- CenterPoint Energy Inc. said Wednesday that its third-quarter profit rose to $136 million, or 39 cents a share, from $91 million, or 27 cents a share, in the year-earlier period. Total revenue rose to $2.52 billion from $1.88 billion.
