Christopher & Banks, Crocs, Steve Madden Jump

Christopher & Banks Corp. shares surged 27% on Thursday. The women's clothing retailer forecast second-quarter same-store sales to rise between 5% and 5.5% even though total sales would drop on fewer stores. Fifth & Pacific Cos.' shares rose 16% after the parent of Juicy Couture and Kate Spade reported a smaller-than-expected second-quarter loss. Steve Madden shares rose 14% after the shoe company reported a 6.8% jump in comparable sales, and total revenue surged 38% to $288.7 million. Skechers USA Inc. shares jumped 7.2% after the shoemaker reported a smaller-than-expected second-quarter loss. Crocs Inc. shares also climbed 13% after its second-quarter profit rose more than analysts were looking for. Cabela's Inc. sales rose 14% after the sporting goods retailer said second-quarter same-store sales accelerated and increased 4.7%.
