Taiwan PC Makers 1Q Results Mixed; Asustek Most Profitable

Taiwanese personal computer makers had mixed fortunes in the first quarter of 2012, with Asustek Computer Inc.

(2357.TW) Monday reporting a better-than-expected 46% jump in net profit, while contract PC maker Compal Electronics Inc.
