N.J. Bus, Rail Service Slowly Coming Back Online

New Jersey train and bus service was slowly coming back online Thursday after being shut down earlier in the week by Hurricane Sandy, according to The Star-Ledger. The Newark newspaper said that NJ Transit has resumed at least partial service on 80% of it routes, and Academy Bus has resumed service between New York City and several N.J. communities. Amtrak trains are again running between Newark and points south, with limited service to New York expected to New York expected to resume on Friday. The Star-Ledger said that limited flight service had resumed at Newark Liberty International Airport, and that AirTrain Newark train service was back up and running between the airport and Northeast Corridor Rail Station. Most commuter trains remain out of commission, however.
