The Transportation sector (IYT) showed little movement while the S&P 500 gained 0.

2% during trading today.The ETF, as a proxy for the sector, tracked closer to the overall market today than over the past week. Going into trading today, IYT was up 3.5% over the last seven trading days while the S&P 500 went up 1.3%.US Airways Group (NYSE:LCC) was a significant gainer in the sector, rising 10.5%. The stock closed at $12.16 with 17.1 million shares moving.
