General Motors (NYSE:GM) recalled more fire-risk SUVs this week, widening a pullback first issued last summer to close to 500,000.The Detroit automaker said it would recall 231,000 vehicles globally, a mix of model-year 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XLs as well as 2006-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainer, Saab 9-7X and Isuzu Ascenders.A vast majority of the vehicles are in the U.S.GM said it received 58 reports of vehicle fires and 11 minor injuries. The issue is related to potential corrosion in the driver's door that could cause a short in the circuit board and the power window and locks to become inoperable. The problem could spark a fire.
