AllThingsD Techies Launch 'Reimagined' Brand

AllThingsD founders Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher unveiled a new tech news site called Re/code on Thursday, marking their first independent push after their split from Dow Jones.The digital journalists also announced a new independent media company called Revere Digital that will umbrella Re/code, with Swisher and Mossberg serving as co-CEOs.Revere Digital, which has received backing from Comcast's (NASDAQ:CMCSA) NBCUniversal and former Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) boss Terry Semel's Windsor Media, will build on the AllThingsD brand, including its revered industry conferences.The company will debut The Code Conference in Los Angeles in May, bringing together some of the biggest innovators to discuss the impact of digital technology.
