The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3, which is expected to unveil at the World Mobile Congress in February, could launch an entry- level cheaper model, according to a report obtained by Planet Insane.

The latest report indicates the Samsung Galaxy Android phone will release a 8GB version that will come at a reasonable price and go head to head with a similar model that will apparently be launched by Apple.

The report indicated that some Samsung Galaxy S2 clients complained that the phone was too expensive, and were waiting for an Apple or Samsung entry- level model that would be more affordable.

As far as rumors go the Galaxy S3 will have a new Exynos processor and SMOLED Plus screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 with a 2GB RAM, and the Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS.

Other rumored specs:

  • 5″ 1280×720 Super AMOLED Plus display
  • 9mm thick body
  • 12 megapixel main camera with LED and Xenon flash
  • 2 megapixel front-facing camera
