Comtex
MCKINNEY, Texas, Dec 01, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) ----My Vintage Baby, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MVBY), a public children's apparel company, announced the official launch of the My Vintage Baby Direct Sales national program on December 1, 2009.
A total of 91 representatives in 23 states have begun pre-selling the fabulous My Vintage Baby Spring 2010 line at trunk shows and through the Internet.
A dedicated page has been added to the My Vintage Baby Direct website for each direct sales representative. Customers can now order easily from their personal representative via the website. The representatives will also use the website to post their trunk show schedules, and their customers will be able to use the site to hold virtual "e-Trunk" fashion shows for their friends.
A new position, Director of Sales, has been created to manage the growing My Vintage Baby Direct Sales Representative Team. The position will be filled by Jana Champagne, who as a Direct Sales Senior Director developed over 200 sales representatives during her seven year career with Southern Living at Home. She was one of only six of approximately 40,000 consultants to achieve the "Dream Builder" award at their 2009 national convention. Ms. Champagne also has extensive buying, wholesale, and retail experience with both Dillard's Department stores and Liz Claiborne Inc.
"We are delighted to have a manager of Ms. Champagne's caliber join My Vintage Baby to inspire our Direct Sales Team as we launch My Vintage Baby Direct nationally for the exciting Spring 2010 season," stated Jessica Wiswall, CEO of My Vintage Baby.
