NEW YORK -- U.S. stocks added to their advance Friday afternoon as investors find reason for cheer in reports from Walt Disney Co. and retailers, lifting consumer discretionary shares. The S&P 500 Index rose 10.11 points, or 0.9%, to 1,097.35, readying the broad index for a 2.6% rise from last Friday's close. The Nasdaq Composite added 21.69 points, or 1%, to 2,170.71, with the technology-laden index up 2.8% for the not-yet-ended week.
