U.S. Stock Rally Loses Some Steam After Fed

    NEW YORK -- U.S. stocks lightly eased back on a rally Wednesday after the Federal Reserve did as expected, keeping interest rates at near zero and sticking with its 'extended period' wording. Up more than 100 points ahead of the Fed statement, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was lately up 87.13 points to 9,859.04. The S&P 500 Index climbed 6.74 points to 1,052.15. The Nasdaq Composite was up 7.36 points at 2,064.68.
