Hammacher Schlemmer has a new way for skateboarders to take it easy and go far. Two iPhone apps let you get a step ahead of other Black-Friday shoppers BEFORE you even get into the mall. Meanwhile, two retailers are offering free shipping online to spread holiday cheer. Microsoft’s Office 2008 for Mac sees a price cut. And tech products made in China are closer than ever.

Welcome to OnSale at FOX Business, where we look at cool stuff and insane bargains.

    Board Games

Move over, Tony Hawk. Hammacher Schlemmer is offering an earth-friendly ride just in time for the holidays.

Its brand new motorized skateboard will take you cruising at up to a 19-mph speed. The classic longboard comes complete with a kicktail and has a 600-watt motor. Its power source is a 36-volt battery. With just a four-hour charge, riders can travel up to 10 miles. And your feet get a break – there’s a handheld wireless remote that controls acceleration and braking.

The skateboard weighs in at 40 lbs, with a 10 ½”-wide resin-and-maple-veneer deck and 4” solid urethane wheels. It can hold up to 225 lbs. You can find it at www.hammacher.com/skateboard. And if you’re in the neighborhood, check out the Hammacher Schlemmer store on East 57th Street in Manhattan.

Black Friday: An App for That

For just $4, Black-Friday shoppers can strategically map out the best plan of attack for their upcoming spree, thanks to two Apple (AAPL) iPhone apps.

You can map out your local mall with the Mall Maps app for $3, and it will list all the stores you will find at your selected destination. Its GPS feature also finds the next-nearest mall, just in case you can’t find what you’re looking for. For $1, Black Friday Wish 1.0 keeps track of your shopping list. Then, the app’s research team finds the best bargains for each item.

    Chantilly Lace

A favorite lingerie company is bringing the goods to the world wide web.

After 32 years filling the shelves at high-end department stores, Hanky Panky just launched its new Web site. Now the famously comfortable, colorful, cotton-lace underwear is available with just a click of the mouse. The site is offering free shipping on orders through December 31st.

In the Bag, for a Limited Time

Luxury handbag maker Coach (COH), offering free shipping on orders over $75 anywhere in the continental U.S. The online offer is only good until December 16th at 11:59pm, so find your favorites soon at www.coach.com.

    Office Space

Microsoft (MSFT) is offering big discounts on Office 2008 for Mac.

The Home and Student Editions, plus Business Edition and Business Edition Upgrade, will see price cuts of between $20 and $50 through January 5, 2010. Office 2008 Home and Student Editions have been reduced from $129.95 to $109.05, while the Office 2008 Business Edition Upgrade was slashed from $249.99 to $209.99. The Office 2008 Business Edition, which usually sells for $349,95, is getting a $50 price cut.

You can find Microsoft Office 2008 software at Best Buy (BBY), Apple (AAPL) and MacMall.

    Shopping Overseas

Getting great deals on goods from China just got a lot easier.

Sinamalls.com is a new Web site offering great deals this holiday season. Sinamalls.com sells high-quality Chinese-made products -- from GPS navigators to mobile phones and iPod and game accessories -- at wholesale rates. You can find 8,000 great gifts for 50% off the prices you’ll see on Amazon (AMZN) or eBay (EBAY). And the shipping is FREE on everything. But hurry – Sinamalls.com ships its products from Hong Kong, and delivery can take up to two weeks.
