    iPod Nanos 276

Welcome to OnSale at FOX Business, a new feature where we'll look at cool stuff and insane bargains. On tap today: nifty high-tech gadgets just in time for the holidays.

    Glove Affair

Cold weather. It’s fast approaching, if it hasn’t reached you already.

One of the worst parts of bundling up is the gloves vs. iPod/mp3 dilemma: you want to be able to change the volume and/or song as much as necessary, but you also want to keep your hand from freezing off.

Alas, a way to do both is now available!

Dots Gloves come with three “In Touch” fingertips. (Think Totes, except for your hands.) Dots Gloves aim to let you scroll and search without exposing your digits to the elements. They come in three sizes, are made with tightly-knit acrylic yarn and fleece and sell for between $15 and $25 per pair.

    Ladybug II iPod Dock

    What’s Up, Dock?

When the gloves come off, and you’re warm at home and still want to hear your music, there’s a new cozy place to dock your iPod.

Vestalife is offering several new designs to give your music player a home. The Ladybug II ($99.99), Firefly ($129.99) and Mantis ($179.99) are all AC or battery-powered and made for the iPod (but also work with the iPhone).

And what’s with the bug names? The speakers are hinged and look like wings when open. Each one is portable and comes with its own remote control. You’ll find them this holiday season at online Apple and the company's retail stores.

    Scratch DJ Academy

    Hey, Mr. DJ

Holiday party hosts can now also be DJ at their own gathering, with a little help from the pros.

Scratch DJ Academy has been teaching music men (and women) how to mix music for seven years, thanks to founder Jam Master J. Now, the Academy presents Cimio Mixtape 2.0. This program lets you mix your favorite songs without spending a fortune on DJ software.

For $29.99, you can download your favorite tunes, create a playlist and mix away. There’s a trial version on the Web site. DJs who want to take it to the next level can take a look here.

Cheap DVDs at Target and Wal-Mart

    Right on, Target

And for anyone seeking a good holiday deal on DVDs, remember: one store’s price war can equal Average-Joe shopper’s big bargain.

Target (TGT), following the lead of Wal-Mart (WMT), is offering its top 10 pre-order DVD movie titles – such as “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” and “Julie and Julia” - for just $10. You can also get free home delivery on Target’s discounted DVDs just in time for the holiday season.

Know of a killer deal or insane bargain? E-mail the goods to OnSale@FOXBusiness.com, and share the wealth.
