    Sherwin-Williams Co. (SHW)
Sherwin-Williams posted better-than-expected EPS results, but couldn’t quite meet the Street’s estimates on quarterly revenue. Still, shares responded positively, closing up 11.5%, or $5.85, to settle at $56.96.

Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. (HST)

LUV posted a first-quarter loss and shareholders weren’t happy. The stock fell 7.1%, or 54 cents, on Thursday to last trade at $7.10.

Following sector and commodity trends, NEM dropped 5.9% on Thursday, closing at $39.80, a loss of $2.50.
