Mexicana Joins The Oneworld Airline Alliance

NEW YORK -- Mexico airline Mexicana joined the oneworld alliance on Tuesday, becoming its 11th member and extending the co-share partnership's reach into Central America. Mexicana customers can now earn and redeem frequent-flier mileage awards on all alliance partners, while the airlines are free to share certain route and ticketing information. Member airlines include AMR Corp.'s American Airlines, British Airways , Cathay Pacific , Finnair, Iberia , Japan Airlines, Lan Airlines , Mal�v Hungarian Airlines, Qantas , and Royal Jordanian, and around 20 affiliates.
