Aer Lingus Carried 0.2% Less Passengers In October

    LONDON -- Irish airline Aer Lingus said Friday that passengers carried fell 0.2% to 902,000 in October, with a 25.7% drop in long haul passengers offsetting a 3.3% increase in short-haul passengers. Load factor -- a measure of passengers to available seats -- in the month was 74.6%, up 1.3 points compared to a year ago.
