Tech Stocks Post Early Gains

SAN FRANCISCO - Technology stocks rose early Monday powered by gains from major players, including Apple Inc. , Dell Inc. and Intel Corp. . The three tech giants were up more than 1% at the opening bell, as the Nasdaq Composite Index edged higher by about 0.8% to 2,130. The Morgan Stanley High Tech 35 Index and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index were each up more than 1%.
