MassMutual Adds $243 Million Taft-Hartley Retirement Plan

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Nov 16, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ ----MassMutual's Retirement Services Division has been selected by the Ironworkers District Council of Southern Ohio & Vicinity Annuity Trust as the new provider for its Taft-Hartley retirement plan. The plan has approximately $243 million in assets under management and more than 8,200 members.
The Ironworkers District Council of Southern Ohio, based in Dayton, Ohio, represents 11 local unions from Ohio, Ind., Ky., and W. Va. Its members provide skilled services as part of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers.
