G4S Nine-month Revenue Up 23%

LONDON -- Security firm G4S said Monday that nine-month revenue increased 23%, while operating profit rose 25%. Overall organic growth totaled 4.2%, as strong growth in new markets offset slower growth in developed markets. "Our businesses have continued to perform well despite facing challenging market conditions," the firm said. "Trends from the first half continued into the third quarter," it added.
