Gluu Mobile Cuts Losses For The Third Quarter

SAN FRANCISCO -- Gluu Mobile reduced its net loss for the third quarter as the maker of mobile games was able to scale back its costs. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, Gluu reported a net loss of $3.99 million, or 13 cents a share, compared to a loss of $56.9 million, or $1.93 a share, for the same period the previous year. On a non-GAAP basis, the company said its net loss for the quarter would have totaled 3 cents a share for the recent quarter. Revenue fell 18% to $19.6 million. Analysts were expecting a loss of 12 cents a share on revenue of $18.9 million, according to consensus forecasts from Thomson Reuters.
