Analog Devices Fourth-quarter Profit, Sales Slip

SAN FRANCISCO -- Analog Devices Inc. said Monday its fiscal fourth-quarter net income fell to $105.6 million, or 36 cents a share, from $143.9 million, or 49 cents a share in the same period last year. Revenue in the period ended in October fell 13% to $572 million, the semiconductor company said. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had estimated Analog Devices would post fourth-quarter earnings of 26 cents a share and $523.8 million in revenue.
