FOXBusiness
Amazon.com (AMZN) announced on Tuesday that the battery life on its e-book reader Kindle has been extended by 85%. The extension of the battery life has been extended to the point that one charge will last seven days with the reader turned on.
Amazon has also added a PDF reader to the device which allows users to download personal documents and read them.
The improvements are not exclusive to new Kindles sold; users with more recent models can download a firmware update online.
