Wal-Mart Slashes Prices
By Darryl R. Isherwood
FOXBusiness
As shoppers prepare for the scrum of the holiday shopping season, big-box discounter Wal-Mart (WMT) has announced its second round of prices cuts on hundreds of toys.
The cuts average between 20 and 30% and will be available until Dec. 25, as the company continues to make good on its pledge to be the “price leader” this holiday season. The company has promised price cuts every week until Christmas.
After it reduced toy prices at the end of September, Target Corp (TGT) responded with price cuts of as much as 50% on toys like Barbie and G.I. Joe.
