Urban Outfitters Quarterly Net Income Up 5%

LONDON -- Urban Outfitters said that third-quarter net income rose to $62.4 million, or 36 cents a share, from $59.3 million, or 35 cents a share, a year ago. Analysts had been expecting earnings of 35 cents a share, according to data compiled by FactSet. Revenue climbed to $505.9 million, from $478 million last year, the specialty retailer said.
