Rue21, Dollar General Climb On First Day Of Trade

NEW YORK -- Teen-apparel retailer rue21 made its market debut Friday, soaring more than 20% to $23.03 in early trade. The company had priced its offering of about 6.77 million shares at $19 each, above the expected range of $16 to $18. Discount retailer Dollar General Inc. , which also priced its IPO late Thursday, was lately up nearly 9% on its first day of trading.
