    Ball Corp. COO Hayes Adds Post Of President

      TEL AVIV -- Ball Corp., the Broomfield, Colo., producer of metal and plastic packaging, said late on Wednesday that Chief Operating Officer John A. Hayes would add the post of president and join the board, effective Jan. 1. As president, Hayes succeeds R. David Hoover, who remains chairman and chief executive. Treasurer Scott C. Morrison was named to the additional posts of senior vice president and chief financial officer. As CFO, Morrison succeeds Raymond J. Seabrook, who becomes executive vice president of the parent and COO for global packaging operations.
