AnnTaylor Shares Rose 4.3% Following Upgrade (ANN)

(NYSE:ANN) shares rose 4.3% following an upgrade to "overweight" from "market-weight," according to a Bloomberg report. The retailer was upgraded at Thomas Weisel Partners Group, which cited a "substantial opportunity" for Q4 and 2010. On Friday the company reported fiscal Q3 EPS of 20 cents per share, topping analyst estaimtes of 7 cents per share. Revenues fell 12% to $462.4 million, short of the consensus estimates of $473.9 millon.
