American Eagle Outfitters Same-store Sales Down 5%

NEW YORK -- American Eagle Outfitters said Thursday its October same-store sales fell 5%. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters forecast an increase in same-store sales of 1.7%. The retailer expects third-quarter adjusted earnings of 20 to 21 cents a share. Analysts expect earnings of 22 cents a share, according to a survey by FactSet Research.
