CapitaMall Gains 5.7% In Singapore Debut

HONG KONG -- CapitaMalls Asia Ltd.'s stock enjoyed a strong debut in Singapore on Wednesday after its 2.8 billion Singapore dollar ($2.02 billion) initial public offering, the city state's largest in 16 years. CapitaMalls shares were quoted at 2.24 Singapore dollars, a 5.7% rise from the 2.12 Singapore dollar offer price. The listing was reportedly the largest by funds raised since Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. listed in 1993. The IPO drew strong investors interest, with applications for shares outstripping supply by 2.7 times.
