Severance Costs Help Drag Warner Music To Loss

LONDON -- Warner Music Group said it swung to a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $18 million, or 12 cents a share, while revenue rose 1% to $861 million. The quarter included 9 cents a share worth of severance costs. The company earned $6 million in the prior-year quarter. Analysts polled by FactSet had forecast a profit of 4 cents a share.
