Oprah To End Show Next Year: Reports

SAN FRANCISCO -- Oprah Winfrey will end her daytime talk show in 2011 after 25 seasons on the air, as she prepares to start a cable channel, according to reports Thursday. The New York Times, citing a spokeswoman for Winfrey's production company, reported that she will make the announcement on her program Friday. Winfrey informed her staff of the decision Thursday afternoon, the report said.
